WATER WALK FOR CLEAN WATER - Doing our part!
All students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 learned about the right of all people to have access to clean water. We read the books Nibi’s Water Song by Sunshine Tenasco in early primary and The Water Walker by Joanne Robertson in our junior and intermediate grades. The lessons were created by our Board consultants in consultation with members of our Indigenous communities. On our walk we raised awareness for the right to have clean water Many parents joined in our walk!
